Responsibility to Four Partner Groups
Farmers and linked members
Support sustainable livelihoods through international-standard organic cultivation techniques, protecting land and forest resources and raising value per hectare. The Association acts by legally representing members in linkages with purchasing enterprises to create stable outlets and reduce market risk.
Member businesses and cooperatives
Build resilient supply chains using a transparent growing-area database and high-quality, traceable, export-standard raw materials. Provide market information, guide warehouse and storage standards, and control heavy-metal residues and pesticide residues.
Community and environment
Protect ecosystems through watershed forest protection and erosion control; contribute to net-zero goals through cinnamon forest carbon absorption; and preserve ethnic-minority traditional labor culture.
National brand
Develop the Quế Lào Cai geographical indication through international trade promotion, affirm its high essential-oil content, and place the Lao Cai cinnamon and star anise brand on the world spice map.
